Air New Zealand
Air New Zealand offers more direct services into Queenstown than any other airline, with an average 58 return services a week – or 11,200 domestic seats - from Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington. The airline also operates direct services into Queenstown from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, with up to 10 return trips a week during the peak winter months to cater for demand from skiers.
Customers travelling into and out off Queenstown also benefit from Air New Zealand’s investment in Required Navigation Performance (RNP) technology on its fleet of A320s and Boeing 737 aircraft. RNP enables Air New Zealand to provide greater schedule reliability in challenging weather conditions by enabling specially trained pilots to fly to lower altitudes with a more precise and efficient route into Queenstown Airport. Air New Zealand now has 18 aircraft fitted with the technology.
Air New Zealand strives to provide a uniquely Kiwi experience to domestic and international customers flying to and from Queenstown, with service that is recognised as being amongst the best in the world.
At Queenstown Airport the Air New Zealand Koru Lounge is located on the first floor, access via stairs midway along departure concourse.
