Wakatipu Aero Club Inc.
The Wakatipu Aero Club Incorporated was founded in 1970 and is owned by our members. Our clubhouse was built by our members and was one of the first buildings at what is now the Queenstown International Airport. The Wakatipu Aero Club exists primarily to promote private flying, being a base from which members can fly aircraft operated by the Club or their own aircraft. We offer training towards Private Pilot License, Commercial Pilot License and flight instructor ratings. We also offer our renowned mountain flying course.
